What is Gravity (by Galxe)?
Migration and issuance
Galxe governance approved replacing GAL with G. The migration converts one GAL into 60 G. Submitted GAL is burned in the onchain migration process. The initial G allocation totaled twelve billion tokens. G was also deployed in ERC-20 form on supported networks. Those deployments serve the same ecosystem token rather than separate independent allocations beyond the published total.
Execution and utility
Gravity's current architecture is an EVM-compatible Layer 1. Its Grevm execution engine supports parallel transaction processing. The consensus design uses a pipelined engine derived from AptosBFT. G pays network transaction charges. The token model also assigns staking, governance and incentive roles. Within Galxe, G supports product payments and community participation. Galxe's identity and engagement tools operate alongside Gravity's execution infrastructure. The token's documented payment functions include Galxe Shop and Galxe Earn.
