What is GAIB AID?
Backing and issuance
AID is minted at a one-to-one ratio against accepted stablecoin deposits. Supported inputs include USDC and USDT. Direct minting is available to whitelisted users and partners. Direct redemptions return supported stable assets under the protocol's arrangements. Treasury and stable-asset reserves support AID's dollar-based value. Secondary markets provide another route for obtaining or exchanging the token.
AID and sAID
AID is the stable base asset of the ecosystem. It can be used within compatible decentralized finance applications. Users can stake it to receive sAID. The staked token represents a vault position linked to GAIB's AI infrastructure portfolio. Its exchange rate reflects the performance of that portfolio. GPU financing returns belong to the sAID strategy rather than an automatic fixed payment to every AID holder. The two tokens therefore have different asset exposures. The separate GAIB token serves the project's governance and incentive economy.
