What is Graphite Protocol?
Creator infrastructure
Graphite’s published framework starts with Solana creator services. It includes minting infrastructure and tools for launching NFT projects. Mainframe supports configurable mint formats such as raffles and Dutch auctions. Mint phases can accept different SPL tokens. The protocol also describes a self-service launchpad through Mintport. Creator tools are intended to serve projects beyond the protocol’s own NFT collections. Expansion to Ethereum and Polygon is part of the documented roadmap.
GP distribution and use
The tokenomics document states a total supply of 150 million GP. Its allocations include rewards for Taiyo NFT holders. The staking design increases reward milestones while eligible NFTs remain staked. Unstaking resets a position’s milestone progression. GP is the preferred payment asset in the creator-services model. When other currencies are accepted, part of the fees can fund GP repurchases. The ecosystem also includes Pilots NFTs and their separate faction points. Those points have different issuance and uses from GP. Graphite’s token framework links service demand with these creator and NFT activities.
