What is H2O?
Omnipool architecture
Hydration's exchange combines multiple assets in a shared liquidity environment. Each asset is represented through a pair against H2O. This provides a common routing structure across the pool. Liquidity providers can deposit one supported asset instead of funding a conventional two-token pair. Deposits remain subject to the asset's pool limits. The design reduces the need to split liquidity among separate trading pairs.
Supply mechanism
The Omnipool mints corresponding H2O when liquidity is added. It burns H2O when liquidity is removed. Supply therefore follows pool activity rather than a fixed mining schedule. H2O represents the pool's aggregate value in an abstract accounting form. Relative asset prices and trading activity affect that accounting. Pool positions can still experience impermanent loss. Its function is specific to liquidity accounting and exchange execution.
