What is Hacash?
Overview
Hacash operates as a peer-to-peer currency system that inherits Bitcoin's decentralization principles while enabling monetary supply adjustments to maintain price stability—a feature Bitcoin cannot provide in a fully decentralized framework. The network distributes three distinct PoW-mined assets: HACD, BTC, and HAC, each issued fairly without pre-mining or centralized control. As a programmable Layer 1, Hacash addresses scalability and security limitations seen in other smart contract platforms by separating settlement, payment, and computation across its architecture.
How it works
Hacash uses a three-layer technical design: Layer 1 handles creation, distribution, and settlement of its three currencies through Proof of Work consensus; Layer 2 enables high-speed payments via a channel chain network; Layer 3 supports Rollups and cross-chain technologies. The network maintains the security and decentralization properties of PoW-based systems while adding smart contract capabilities unavailable in similar peer-to-peer currencies.
Token and supply
HAC is the native asset of the Hacash blockchain with no maximum supply limit listed. Total supply is approximately 1.9 million tokens, with circulating supply significantly lower. New tokens are issued through Proof of Work mining as part of the three-currency distribution system.
