Token and supply
HAIR is a governance token where each token equals one vote in project decisions. The token is deployed on both Ethereum and Base networks and is tradeable on decentralized exchanges including Uniswap V4 and V3 on Ethereum, and Aerodrome SlipStream. Total supply is fixed at 1.5 million tokens with no maximum supply cap listed. HAIR currently functions as a governance mechanism, with potential for expanded utility planned for the future.
Team and history
HairDAO launched in November 2021 and minted its first IP-NFT that same month, documenting research on thyroid hormones and scalp skin cultures. The project was part of the first bio.xyz cohort alongside VitaDAO, AthenaDAO, ValleyDAO, and PsyDAO.
