What is Hex Trust USD?
Issuer and reserve model
HT Digital Assets is part of Hex Trust's tokenisation ecosystem. USDX is designed to reference one US dollar. Its published reserve model uses Treasuries, cash and cash equivalents. Hex Trust provides custody and reserve-management services. The issuer describes those reserves as segregated. This is an issuer-backed structure rather than a crypto-collateralised borrowing protocol.
Use and redemption
USDX can transfer through supported blockchain wallets. It is intended for payments, settlement and DeFi collateral. The issuer's direct redemption process is available to approved parties. Access to that process is separate from buying the token on an exchange. Its supply follows issuance and redemption rather than a fixed mining allocation.
Yield integrations
USDX can be deposited in investment vaults operated through Clearpool integrations. The T-Pool is associated with short-term Treasury exposure. Other vault strategies have different investment mandates. Pool participation produces a separate position from simply holding USDX. Yield depends on the selected strategy and its conditions. The token's dollar reference does not itself create a fixed return.
