What is Huma Finance?
Financing and liquidity positions
Huma supplies capital for businesses that need financing around payment flows. Its Solana product deploys liquidity into cross-border payment applications. Institutional access uses investor accreditation and identity checks. Huma 2.0 introduced a permissionless route for liquidity providers. Payments and financing are settled using stablecoins. HUMA supports incentives for liquidity providers, partners and community contributors. It is separate from PST, the receipt token associated with liquidity positions. Holding HUMA does not itself represent a deposit in a financing pool. The April 2026 redesign retired the Maxi mode for new deposits. It also removed the HUMA staking multiplier applied to PST rewards.
Supply and governance
HUMA has a maximum supply of ten billion tokens. Allocations cover ecosystem incentives, investors, contributors, liquidity and the treasury. The first team and major investor unlock was moved to November 26, 2026. Subsequent distribution follows the published vesting terms. Onchain governance tools are scheduled for that same date, with token-based participation part of the protocol's design.
