What is Hunt?
Supply and deployments
HUNT was issued on Ethereum in 2019 with an initial supply of 500 million. Subsequent burns removed more than 60% of that issuance. The project reports a remaining total of 198,912,688 HUNT. Minting permission has been permanently removed. This prevents additional HUNT issuance. The token follows the ERC-20 standard. A bridged version on Base is backed one to one by Ethereum HUNT.
Hunt Town mechanics
Projects use HUNT reserves in bonding-curve pools. Depositing HUNT mints a project’s separate token. Burning that project token releases reserves according to its curve. Building NFTs represent membership and generate Backing Points. These points support participation in project-token minting. Main Buildings use a one-year HUNT lock. Mini Buildings on Base have no equivalent lock-up. Burning a Building can unlock its HUNT while ending its future point generation. The system links reserve liquidity with participation in individual projects.
