Igra Network is a Layer 2 smart contract platform that executes EVM transactions atop Kaspa's proof-of-work consensus layer. How it works
Igra operates as a based rollup on Kaspa's BlockDAG architecture, inheriting its proof-of-work security model. EVM smart contracts written in Solidity execute on the Layer 2, while Kaspa miners handle transaction ordering in a permissionless manner. Smart contracts have been audited by Sigma Prime; mainnet launched in early 2026.
Token and supply
The Igra ecosystem uses two tokens: iKAS, a wrapped gas token maintaining a 1:1 peg with KAS, and IGRA. IGRA serves as the governance token and is used for attester staking within the protocol. Maximum supply is fixed at 10 billion IGRA, with total supply at approximately 1.1 billion.
