IOTX pays for transfers and contract execution. Staking helps select delegates and supports consensus participation. The published genesis supply was ten billion tokens. The token documentation also specifies a ten-billion maximum. Burns and reward allocations affect the available balance. Native IOTX and Ethereum-format IOTX have different network representations. Wrapped forms support transfers across supported chains. Module-specific staking and settlement features depend on their implementation stage.
