What is Kaskad?
Overview
Kaskad provides lending and liquidity services to users of the Kaspa ecosystem. Users can supply assets to earn interest, borrow by posting collateral, and engage in on-chain liquidity markets. All protocol operations—including deposits, withdrawals, interest calculations, liquidations, and fee distribution—are governed by transparent smart contracts with enforced safety limits.
How it works
Kaskad operates on Igra, an EVM-compatible Layer 2 solution built on Kaspa's blockDAG architecture. The protocol enforces its core functions—deposits, borrowing, interest accrual, liquidations, and governance—through auditable smart contract code rather than trusted intermediaries.
Token and supply
KSKD has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. The token functions within the Kaskad ecosystem and Igra network.
