What is Kite?
Agent transactions
Kite's architecture connects AI services with blockchain settlement. Its Agent Passport design records an agent's identity and permitted authority. Payment controls can restrict how an agent spends and which services it accesses. The network is designed to accommodate stablecoin-based service payments. Application modules organize specialized AI services within the wider ecosystem. Each module can maintain its own economic incentives. Validators and delegators are part of the proof-of-stake network design.
Token functions and allocation
KITE's declared supply is capped at 10 billion tokens. Ecosystem and community programs receive 48% of the allocation. Modules receive 20%, and investors receive 12%. The team, advisers and early contributors receive the remaining 20%. Early token functions include participation eligibility and liquidity committed to module economies. The documentation adds validator staking and service-fee mechanisms in a later mainnet phase. Initial incentive rewards are allocated from a dedicated token pool. The economic plan aims to move toward rewards funded by service usage. These planned functions distinguish KITE's role from the stablecoins used in individual agent payments.
