What is Doge Killer?
Overview
Leash functions as a companion token within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. It was initially conceived to track the price of Dogecoin through a rebase mechanism, but this function was permanently disabled by burning the associated keys. The token serves as a counterbalance to Shib, which has a vastly larger supply structure.
How it works
Leash operates as a standard ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. The rebase functionality that would have automatically adjusted token supply has been permanently deactivated, making it behave as a conventional token contract.
Token and supply
Leash has a fixed total supply of approximately 803.6 trillion tokens, with no rebasing or new issuance mechanisms. This contrasts sharply with Shib's quadrillion-token supply design. The token's fixed supply and disabled rebase functions form the core of its tokenomics.
