What is Lido EarnUSD?
Vault portfolio
The vault accepts USDC and USDT. Its strategies can include lending, tokenized real-world assets and structured positions. Mellow acts as the curator of the USD vault. Allocations can change as the strategy is managed. Portfolio returns accrue within the vault.
Share accounting
EARNUSD represents a proportional interest in the vault's assets. The token records a user's exposure to the managed portfolio. Its redemption value reflects strategy performance. The USD vault currently uses one strategy subvault in the documented architecture. Returns are compounded rather than requiring a separate reward-claim transaction.
Deposit and withdrawal
The documented deposit process includes a 24-hour waiting period. USD withdrawals settle in USDC. Users first submit a withdrawal request. They then claim funds when settlement becomes available. The typical withdrawal period is around three days. The actual amount received depends on the value of the redeemed shares.
