What is Liquid Mercury?
Marketplace role
Liquid Mercury develops institutional trading infrastructure. Mercury RWA connects issuers, funds and trading desks. Its onboarding includes identity and anti-money-laundering checks. MERC gates access to marketplace features and counterparty workflows. It can also offset platform fees under the operator's rules.
Token parameters
MERC follows the ERC-20 standard with a fixed supply of six billion tokens. Official deployments exist on Ethereum and Base. The Base version uses Wormhole infrastructure. Allocations cover ecosystem development, rewards, contributors, treasury, liquidity, investors and partners.
Asset settlement
The marketplace uses delivery-versus-payment settlement on Ethereum. BitGo custody is integrated into its settlement infrastructure. Individual asset tokens represent separate products from MERC. Holding MERC does not confer equity or debt in Liquid Mercury. Token governance and activation of its rewards programme remain announced plans.
