What is Looped Hype?
Overview
Looped Hype (LHYPE) is an automated protocol designed to maximize yield on staked HYPE tokens. Users deposit HYPE and receive LHYPE in return, while the protocol executes algorithmic looping strategies to generate additional yield on top of network rewards. The project aims to make institutional-grade yield strategies accessible to all users while strengthening the Hyperliquid ecosystem.
How it works
The protocol operates on the HyperEVM chain. When users deposit HYPE, they receive LHYPE tokens and the protocol automatically deploys an algorithmic looping strategy to compound yields. The project also allocates 1% of total value locked toward reinvestment in Hyperliquid-native projects through an initiative called HyperCatalyst.
Token and supply
LHYPE functions as both a liquid staking receipt and governance token. The token distribution is structured so that 90% is allocated to depositors and ecosystem participants. Total supply is approximately 91 thousand LHYPE with no maximum supply limit.
