What is Treasure?
Treasure ecosystem
MAGIC launched in 2021 through a free-mint, fair-launch distribution. Early participants earned tokens while testing Treasure's on-chain games. Treasure's current direction centres on collectibles that can act as intelligent entities. Its development includes an agent-creation framework and AI-based gaming experiences. MAGIC connects activity across that ecosystem. Agents use it to pay for compute and on-chain services.
Issuance and governance
The published emission schedule targets 347,714,007 MAGIC. Emissions halve annually rather than every four years. The scheduled halving occurs on September 1. Treasure operates through a DAO. Proposals are discussed through its governance forum before formal voting. Voting power is measured through gMAGIC. Staked MAGIC and specified liquidity positions qualify under that calculation. Uncommitted liquid MAGIC does not count toward governance voting. The DAO can decide emissions policy and protocol upgrades. Its treasury supports the ecosystem's operations and development.
