What is Magma Finance?
Trading and participation
Magma's design uses concentrated liquidity for market making. Liquidity providers supply assets to trading pools. Its economic model draws on vote-escrowed token incentives. Locking tokens aligns participation with a longer commitment. The design gives lockers a role in directing incentives. The project's March 2025 explanation outlined how these incentives support pool depth and trading activity.
The Sui token
The dedicated token specification sets both total and maximum supply at one billion MAGMA. MAGMA is issued as a Sui coin. Holders can propose changes and vote on protocol governance. Decisions can concern features, upgrades and operating parameters. Token incentives compensate liquidity providers for supplying pool assets. Rewards are designed around each participant's relative contribution. MAGMA also supports loyalty tiers based on holdings and activity. Those tiers can offer selected services or preferential participation terms.
