What is Nest?
Overview
Nest transforms tokenized equities into a dollar-pegged stablecoin called nUSD, which is backed by real equity collateral and USDC reserves. Users deposit approved tokenized stocks through xStocks to mint nUSD. The protocol serves participants seeking yield-generating stable assets backed by traditional market exposure.
How it works
Built on Solana, Nest uses Pyth oracles for price feeds and Kamino infrastructure. Users can stake nUSD as snUSD to earn protocol revenue from borrower stability fees and reserve yield. A Peg Stability Module enables 1:1 redemptions into USDC when reserves are sufficient.
Token and supply
NEST has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. nUSD is the protocol's stablecoin and does not represent a separate token contract. snUSD is the staking form of nUSD, earning variable protocol revenue with a target APY of 6%.
