What is Nest BlackOpal LiquidStone II Vault?
Portfolio
Nest accepts stablecoin deposits and allocates capital to the vault's underlying assets. Its primary credit exposure comes from BlackOpal's LiquidStone II fund. That strategy finances short-dated Brazilian credit-card receivables. Foreign-exchange hedging addresses the currency exposure in those positions. The vault also uses Superstate's USCC market-neutral strategy for liquidity management. Cash flows are reinvested rather than paid out as regular token distributions.
Share accounting
nOPAL represents a claim on the vault's portfolio through its share accounting. Returns change the token's redemption value as the portfolio earns income or incurs losses. The EVM share token uses six decimal places. Deposits create shares and redemptions remove them from the outstanding supply. Its issuance therefore follows capital entering and leaving the vault rather than a fixed token cap.
Access and redemption
The current integration documentation supports USDC deposits and redemptions on Arc. Predicate compliance checks form part of the minting flow. Redemptions can be submitted as asynchronous requests and claimed after settlement. An instant route is available when the selected asset has sufficient liquidity. Performance depends on receivable repayment, servicing, hedging and the liquidity of the underlying portfolio.
