What is NEXO?
Launch and platform
NEXO distribution started with a February 2018 airdrop. A presale and public token sale followed in March and April. The token follows the ERC-20 standard. Its disclosed issuance totals one billion units. Nexo's products include crypto-backed credit lines, exchange services, interest-bearing accounts and a payment card.
Account benefits
The platform's Loyalty Program has Base, Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers. NEXO connects these tiers with preferential product terms. Benefits can include lower borrowing rates, enhanced savings yields and card cashback. Eligible customers can also use NEXO as credit-line collateral. Withdrawal allowances and access to market analytics form additional parts of the benefit framework.
Token rights
Ethereum processes transfers of the ERC-20 asset. Nexo Capital administers the platform benefits and can change their conditions. Platform access remains subject to account verification and product eligibility. The current token framework grants no equity, profit entitlement or ownership claim against Nexo. NEXO can be transferred between compatible wallets and traded independently of a Nexo account.
