What is Nexpace?
Assets and exchange
MapleStory Universe combines game-item NFTs, NXPC and the NESO game token. NXPC Fission exchanges NXPC for NFT collections. Item Fusion exchanges eligible collections back into NXPC. The conversion system connects token circulation with demand for game assets. Certain special-event NFTs fall outside these exchange mechanisms.
Supply and distribution
NXPC has a maximum supply of one billion tokens. Eighty percent is allocated to contributor rewards. Contributors receive tokens according to measured ecosystem participation. Distribution occurs in seven-day cycles. Each cycle's allocation gradually decreases under an exponential supply formula. Other allocations follow their own unlock conditions.
Network and game currency
NXPC is the native gas asset of MapleStory Universe's Layer 1 network. Smart contracts also convert NXPC into NESO and back at a fixed rate. NESO supports marketplace purchases and game features such as item enhancement. Conversion can temporarily remove NXPC from circulation. Unlocked supply therefore differs from actual circulating supply.
