What is Blockmachine?
Blockchain access
Blockmachine routes application requests to competing infrastructure suppliers. Customers connect through standard JSON-RPC endpoints. Its live coverage includes Ethereum, Base and other EVM networks. Supplier selection combines price and service performance. Successful requests are billed in Request Units. Failed requests are not billed under the published service model.
Verification design
The gateway checks supported responses against trusted blockchain state roots. Merkle proofs provide one layer of verification. Validators also sample logged requests and compare them with reference infrastructure. Public logs support independent review of the work performed. The whitepaper ties supplier weights to delivered work at agreed prices. This replaces a reward model based solely on advertised computing capacity.
Subnet economics
Blockmachine operates as Bittensor subnet 19. Its alpha asset uses Bittensor's staking and emission infrastructure. The economic design directs unearned emissions into a burn mechanism. A protocol reserve purchases alpha against supplier payouts. Service pricing is denominated separately from the market price of SN19.
