What is Nosana?
GPU workloads
Developers submit AI inference workloads through Nosana's interfaces. Operators supply GPUs that execute containerized jobs. Docker packages the model and its runtime dependencies. Job coordination uses programs on Solana. The network supports running models on independently operated hardware.
NOS and network access
NOS is an SPL token with six decimal places. Its published supply is 100 million tokens. Payments and operator incentives connect NOS to compute usage. Staking has a separate program in the network's architecture. The hosted API also supports account credits for purchasing compute.
Distribution
The genesis allocation reserved 20% for node incentives. Company reserves received 25%, while early backers received 17%. Team tokens represented 20% of the initial allocation. Liquidity received 10%, the public sale 3% and an airdrop 5%. These allocations describe the original distribution rather than a new minting schedule.
