What is Neutrl USD?
Backing portfolio
Neutrl holds crypto assets and liquid stablecoins in its reserve structure. Part of the portfolio buys discounted locked tokens through OTC transactions. Derivatives hedge their directional market exposure. USDC, USDT and USDe appear among the documented liquid reserve assets. NUSD targets a value of one US dollar. Basis and funding strategies provide additional sources of portfolio return.
Creation and settlement
Minting deposits eligible assets through the protocol's router. Valuation determines the corresponding NUSD issuance. Assets pass into the reserve before tokens are created. Approved participants complete the required identity checks for direct redemption. Redeemed NUSD is burned as backing assets leave the system.
Staked NUSD
Users deposit NUSD to receive sNUSD. The staking token represents a share of the yield-bearing pool. Returns increase its redemption exchange rate. Standard unstaking uses a ten-day queue. An instant withdrawal route has a separate fee. NUSD itself and sNUSD have different roles in the protocol.
