What is OMEGA Labs?
Overview
OMEGA Labs is an artificial intelligence project built on the Bittensor ecosystem as a subnet. The project provides a mining application that allows users to participate in distributed computation by installing software and performing productive tasks. Participants earn TAO, the native token of the Bittensor network, in return for their contributions.
How it works
OMEGA Focus operates as Subnet 24 within the Bittensor network. The protocol uses a one-click installer to lower barriers to entry, allowing users to begin mining without complex setup procedures. Work performed by miners is validated and rewarded through Bittensor's consensus mechanism.
Token and supply
SN24 is the token issued by OMEGA Labs, deployed on the Bittensor chain. The token has a maximum supply of 21 million. Current total and circulating supply is approximately 5.3 million, with new tokens issued through mining rewards for network participants.
