What is Opcode?
Trading product
Opcode's beta application offers access to tokenised equity and fund exposure. Its listed assets use Ondo's tokenisation infrastructure. Those instruments track economic exposure to underlying securities, including the treatment of reinvested dividends. Holding a tokenised instrument is distinct from owning the OPCODE platform token. Users place and settle trades in USDC through the application.
Application infrastructure
The product uses embedded wallets and supports passkey-based access. This approach abstracts wallet handling and network fees within the user interface. The underlying trading environment still operates on Ethereum. Opcode also presents an optional route for idle cash into sUSDS, which is a separate Sky yield-bearing asset. That feature does not turn OPCODE into a stablecoin or an interest-bearing deposit.
Platform token
OPCODE holdings determine access to trading fee tiers. The highest advertised tier reduces platform trading fees by up to eighty percent. The project describes discretionary use of a portion of fees for token buybacks and burns. This does not establish a contractual claim on dividends or a fixed distribution of platform revenue. Automated portfolio and AI-agent features are presented as upcoming products rather than established token capabilities.
