What is OpenEden?
Token and ecosystem
OpenEden develops access to tokenized financial assets. EDEN is separate from the platform’s Treasury and stablecoin products. Its token framework has a total supply of 1 billion. Part of that supply is reserved for future ecosystem rewards. These emissions are intended to help establish new products and encourage participation. EDEN holders can stake their tokens. Staking produces the xEDEN receipt.
Staking and governance design
Rewards accrue through the staking position rather than requiring a separate manual claim each time. The token framework also contemplates fee discounts and rebates. xEDEN can provide access to premium ecosystem features. Availability remains subject to the relevant product’s requirements. The governance design covers emissions and future product direction. OpenEden describes community voting as a planned mechanism. Its materials also describe potential treasury-funded buybacks and burns. Those actions are explicitly subject to legal review. They should therefore be treated as a possible future use rather than an established permanent policy.
