What is ORE?
Mining rounds
The current program tracks a board with twenty-five squares. Participants choose squares and commit SOL to a round. An entropy mechanism selects the winning square. Settlement calculates SOL payouts and ORE rewards. Participants claim the two reward assets through separate instructions.
Token issuance
The current mint program sets a maximum supply of three million ORE. ORE uses eleven decimal places. A regular round can mint up to one ORE for its mining reward. Up to 0.2 additional ORE goes to the motherlode rewards pool. Minting checks the remaining supply before creating either amount.
Protocol mechanics
Regolith Labs publishes the program's source code. Its instruction set supports automated participation as well as manual deployment. Mining proceeds include protocol and administrative fee deductions. Treasury operations include an ORE buyback mechanism. The asset runs within Solana's infrastructure, while the board game determines its own reward distribution.
