What is Osaka Protocol?
Community and distribution
Osaka Protocol presents itself as a project organized through voluntary community participation. Its original Ethereum asset uses a simple ERC-20 contract modeled on the original Shiba Inu token. Initial distribution included liquidity, an airdrop to eligible former SHIB holders and liquidity-farming incentives. Half of the original supply was sent to the Ryoshi address. Unclaimed airdrop allocations were subsequently burned, while the original airdrop and farming periods have ended.
Cross-chain token
The documented OSAK deployments extend to Avalanche, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Base and Optimism. Cross-chain transfers use LayerZero's omnichain fungible token infrastructure. An adapter on Ethereum holds OSAK to support transfers between the original token and other networks. The project's supply documentation groups tokens burned to a dead address together with tokens sent to Ryoshi. Those two categories are distinct, so that figure should not be read as a verified reduction of contract total supply.
