What is OuroLayer?
Overview
OURO is a fixed-supply token designed to create ongoing value distribution to holders through protocol-owned mechanisms. Every trade involving OURO incurs a tax denominated in ETH, with proceeds flowing to a protocol treasury rather than individuals. The treasury systematically purchases other tokens on the chain and manages liquidity positions that generate continuous fee income.
How it works
OURO operates as an ERC20 token with a single trading pair against ETH on Uniswap v4, utilizing letscash.fun's shared trading hook to implement the swap tax mechanism. Trading revenue in ETH flows to the protocol treasury, which splits acquisitions: half of purchased tokens are distributed to OURO holders via airdrop, while half are paired into liquidity positions owned and retained by the protocol. Fee income from these liquidity positions cycles back quarterly, with 80% airdropped to holders and 20% reinvested into additional liquidity.
Token and supply
OURO has a fixed maximum supply of 1 billion tokens with no additional issuance planned. The token functions primarily as a holder participation mechanism, distributing value generated from trading activity and fee accrual. Holders receive distributions through two channels: airdrops funded by treasury purchases and fee-sharing from protocol-owned liquidity positions.
