What is Ondo Short-Term U.S. Government Bond Fund?
Product and investor access
Ondo launched OUSG in January 2023. The product provides onchain access to a professionally managed Treasury-oriented investment portfolio. Investors hold tokenized fund interests rather than a governance token. Eligibility requires both accredited investor and qualified purchaser status. Eligible participants can include US investors. Onboarding and compliance approval are required before investing, redeeming or receiving transfers. Token transfers are restricted to approved participants.
Portfolio and accumulation
Most of the portfolio is invested in BlackRock's BUIDL fund. Additional holdings support liquidity through government money-market exposure, bank deposits and USDC. Treasury income is reflected in OUSG's net asset value per share. The number of tokens does not automatically increase as income accrues. Ondo separately offers rOUSG, a rebasing representation that distributes accrual through token balances.
Subscriptions and redemptions
Supported investors can subscribe using bank transfers or accepted stablecoins. OUSG also supports instant subscriptions and redemptions through its liquidity arrangements. These transactions remain subject to minimums, limits and available capacity. Supply follows fund subscriptions and redemptions, with no predetermined maximum issuance.
