What is Pons?
Platform and network
Pons provides infrastructure for creating and trading tokens on Robinhood Chain. The chain uses an EVM-compatible transaction environment. ETH pays the underlying network's gas fees. PONS originated through the platform's earlier launch system. That token used an existing Uniswap V3 pool rather than a later V2 bonding-curve launch. Its contract is distinct from similarly named assets on other chains.
Supply and fee flow
The platform's documented token-launch supply is 1 billion units. PONS is the legacy platform token identified in that launch documentation. The buyback policy assigns 80% of protocol fees to purchasing PONS. Purchased tokens are sent to a burn address. This removes those balances from ordinary circulation. Buybacks currently use manual initiation with automated time-weighted execution. Further automation and decentralization are planned. Platform fees, buybacks and host-chain gas are separate parts of the system.
