What is Vanta Network?
Strategies and validation
Vanta evolved from the Proprietary Trading Network. Miners submit trading signals for supported crypto, foreign-exchange, equity and commodity markets. Signals express long, short or flat positions. Validators build portfolios from those signals and measure their performance. The accounting includes simulated execution costs such as spreads, slippage and carrying charges. Market schedules determine when signals can be submitted for each instrument. Strategies may be discretionary, systematic or generated with machine learning.
Incentives and access
Vanta's scoring system translates trading performance into miner rewards. Debt-based scoring evaluates profit and loss over defined measurement windows. Drawdown controls and penalties constrain excessive losses. The validator software also addresses copied strategies and prolonged inactivity. Bittensor validators assign subnet weights that determine the distribution of network emissions. Holders can stake the subnet's alpha token through Bittensor's validator and staking infrastructure. The subnet alpha has a maximum issuance of 21 million tokens. Vanta provides software interfaces for strategy submission and products for connecting qualified signals to trading workflows.
