What is Propy?

Origins and supply

Propy issued PRO through its 2017 token sale. The original allocation totaled 100 million tokens. PRO uses Ethereum's ERC-20 standard. Its token model includes access to writing records in the Propy Registry. The ecosystem also uses token rewards to encourage participation.

Property transactions

Propy provides digital workflows for real-estate transactions. Its registry records transaction information using blockchain infrastructure. The property-NFT model links a token to legal documentation for a specific asset. Transfers require the associated legal structure and platform terms. A property NFT can represent a transaction route through an entity holding the real estate.

PRO and asset rights

PRO is separate from those property-specific NFTs. Holding PRO alone does not establish ownership of a listed building. Registry access concerns the utility token's role within Propy's software. The token can be transferred between compatible Ethereum wallets. Property investment rights depend on the particular offering and its legal documents.
