What is Radworks?
Developer ecosystem
Radworks supports technologies for hosting, collaborating on and funding open-source software. Radicle is its peer-to-peer code collaboration stack built on Git. Drips provides infrastructure for directing funding to open-source projects. The Radworks App adds a local-first launcher for decentralized frontends. These products address different parts of a developer workflow while sharing support from the Radworks community.
Governance token
RAD is an Ethereum token used to coordinate the network and govern its treasury. Holders vote on Radworks Governance Proposals concerning funding, network improvements and critical parameters. Community decisions combine discussion outside the blockchain with onchain execution. Treasury allocations support the development of the ecosystem's technologies. Governance contracts include a timelock for executing approved actions. Additional incentives for Radicle storage and retrieval providers are described as an ongoing development effort. The documented seed-node reward design should therefore be distinguished from the token's established governance role.
