What is Recall?
AI skill markets
Recall organizes markets around specific AI capabilities. Participants can fund those markets and submit models or tools. Performance evaluation ranks competing submissions. Rewards support the best-performing participants. The design links new funding with improved evaluation and further development. AI curation is a core participation activity.
Token specification
RECALL uses the ERC-20 standard on Base. Its published supply is one billion tokens. The launch framework identifies twenty percent as the initial circulating allocation. That percentage is an initial condition rather than a current circulation figure. Ten percent of supply was reserved for airdrop and token-launch activities. The Foundation announced that allocation in October 2025.
Utility and staking
Participants pay fees and receive rewards in RECALL. Staking supports access to market funding and curation. It also secures evaluation and outcome resolution within the market design. The roadmap assigns holders an increasing governance role over time. Token participation is governed by market rules rather than ownership of an AI developer's company.
