What is rsFIRO?

Bridge launch

Firo announced the live integration on September 15, 2026. Bridging outward places native FIRO in bridge reserves. The destination chain receives rsFIRO after applicable fees. A reverse transfer redeems the wrapped representation for native coins. Ethereum and BNB Chain deployments both use eight decimal places. Ethereum’s representation follows the ERC-20 standard.

Verification and use

Rosen coordinates transfers through the Ergo blockchain. Watchers monitor connected networks and report qualifying transactions. Guards independently check those reports and collectively authorise transfers. This verification structure separates observation from release of assets. rsFIRO supports trading and liquidity provision in compatible decentralised markets. Its supply follows bridge deposits and redemptions rather than a separate mining programme. Transfers of the wrapped token are public. The bridge does not extend Lelantus Spark privacy to those transfers. Spark transactions require native FIRO on Firo’s own network. Ethereum and BNB Chain transaction fees are paid in their respective gas assets.
