What is EURØP?
Issuer and reserves
Schuman Financial is the trading name of Salvus SAS. The issuer is a French electronic money institution supervised by ACPR. EURØP is classified as an e-money token under the issuer's MiCA framework. Reserves are held in cash and cash equivalents. European financial institutions safeguard those reserves. KPMG issues quarterly attestations comparing reserve backing with issued tokens. The token provides euro-denominated value on supported blockchains.
Minting and redemption
Qualified business clients can mint EURØP through the issuer's platform. Euro deposits support issuance of an equivalent token amount. Qualified clients can also redeem tokens directly. Other holders can request redemption after completing the required identity checks. Wallets and exchanges provide additional access routes. Supply changes with issuance and redemption rather than a mining schedule. EURØP is intended for payments, transfers and euro-based onchain finance. It is distinct from a governance token or a claim on the issuing company's shares.
