What is Spacecoin?
A network built around orbital infrastructure
Spacecoin's first satellite mission was CTC-0 in 2024. Its later CTC-1 mission used three satellites. The project demonstrated blockchain-data communication through orbital infrastructure. Its broader goal is an open connectivity network. That goal requires ground and satellite systems working together. The initial missions are milestones rather than proof that universal commercial coverage has been completed.
Token launch and newer services
The SPACE token launched on January 23, 2026. The published model assigns it payment and network-coordination functions. Token incentives are intended to support infrastructure participation. The ecosystem has also expanded into internet-access services outside satellite links. SpaceRouter Proxy was announced live in April 2026. It uses SPACE within a residential-proxy service designed for AI agents. That service is distinct from the orbital connectivity program. SPACE ownership does not itself convey ownership of a satellite.
