Issuance and consumption
The token-generation event minted six billion GMT on March 9, 2022. That original issuance does not describe the remaining supply after burns. GMT deployments are documented on Solana, BNB Chain, Ethereum and Polygon. Thirty percent of the allocation is assigned to move-and-earn and governance participation. Players burn GMT for specified sneaker-level upgrades. GMT is also consumed when minting sneakers and upgrading higher-level gems. Further uses include redistributing attribute points and increasing the GST daily earning cap. These consumption mechanisms connect token demand with optional game actions.
