What is STONK?
Launch infrastructure
StonkFun supports the creation of Solana tokens with a selected quote asset. Supported quotes include SOL, stablecoins and tokenized stock instruments. A quote asset defines the trading pair rather than making the newly launched token a company share. The current launch path uses Raydium LaunchLab. Tokens initially trade through a bonding curve. At graduation, the market moves to a Raydium constant-product pool. Earlier StonkFun launches used a direct concentrated-liquidity pool instead.
Platform token
STONK is the platform token identified by the project-linked Solana mint. It is distinct from user-created tokens launched through StonkFun. The platform's fee-routing system purchases STONK and burns the purchased units. These transactions reduce the available supply through on-chain burn operations. Buybacks are funded by platform activity rather than a staking subsidy from a separate blockchain. The burn program also operates on selected tokens from the platform. STONK transfers and market trades settle using Solana's infrastructure.
