What is AWE Network?
STP migration
The project originally launched as STP in 2019. It later shifted from coordination and DAO tooling toward autonomous AI worlds. AWE Network completed its rebrand and token migration in May 2025. Each STPT converted into one AWE. The published supply remained approximately 1.94 billion tokens without inflation from the migration.
Agent infrastructure
AWE develops tools for persistent agent-agent and human-agent interactions. World.Fun supplies an environment for launching and running autonomous worlds. The framework coordinates agent execution, dependencies and inference workloads. Its newer infrastructure adds ERC-8004 agent identities and observable reputation. Payment tools support x402 settlement on Base, including USDC transfers. These payment rails are separate from the AWE governance token itself.
Governance and participation
AWE holders delegate voting power to themselves or another address. Delegation enables votes without transferring the underlying token ownership. On-chain proposals use Tally, while supported off-chain proposals use Snapshot. Token use within worlds includes agent tipping, inference participation and creator incentives. The applicable world defines its own economic and interaction rules. AWE operates on Base rather than securing a separate proof-of-stake blockchain.
