What is SynFutures?
Trading infrastructure
SynFutures first launched its derivatives protocol in 2021. The platform supports on-chain trading rather than custodial exchange balances. Its Oyster design combines automated liquidity with an order book. Liquidity providers and limit orders can contribute to market execution. The current platform also lists tokenized securities alongside crypto markets. Risk and settlement rules depend on the particular product.
F issuance
The Foundation announced F in November 2024. Its token framework specifies ten billion F. The native token is an ERC-20 asset on Ethereum. The launch also documented a bridged Base version. Community allocations fund airdrops and ecosystem programmes. Other allocations support the treasury, contributors, development and liquidity.
Participation
The launch framework assigns voting power to staked F. Governance proposals can address features and risk parameters. It also describes staking-based incentive boosts. Fee discounts and further reward programmes require their own implementation announcements. Holding F does not give ownership of assets traded on SynFutures.
