The underlying equity is Tesla's TSLA stock. Ondo Global Markets (BVI) Limited issues the tokenized product. The issuer holds the underlying security and any cash in transit as backing. Ondo describes the instrument as a total-return tracker. It includes the economics of reinvested dividends after applicable withholding tax. Consequently, a token does not necessarily represent exactly one conventional share.
