Underlying assets
Theo presents thBILL as a tokenized Treasury product. Its current basket includes Wellington Management's ULTRA strategy and Fidelity International's FILQ tokenized liquidity fund. Libeara provides the tokenization infrastructure for the ULTRA exposure. Standard Chartered supplies custody within that underlying structure. FILQ exposure is sourced through Sygnum. Chainlink brings its net asset value data onchain. The token's backing therefore involves managed fund positions rather than a single Treasury bill.
Token mechanics
The product accepts USDC or USDT through its supported deposit flow. Users receive thBILL tokens representing their investment exposure. Returns accrue through the token's value rather than a separate reward-claim process. The token is available across Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum and HyperEVM. Theo also integrates the position with lending, trading and yield applications. Secondary-market trading provides a route to transfer or sell the position. Theo's platform can require identity, source-of-funds and compliance checks. Access is subject to jurisdiction and product conditions. thBILL is an investment exposure rather than a fixed-value payment token or a governance allocation.
