What is tokenbot?
Origins and deployment
Clanker launched in November 2024. Jack Dishman and the pseudonymous developer proxystudio built the original Farcaster bot. Users could request a token by tagging the bot in a post. CLANKER itself was deployed on Base on November 8, 2024. It was the first token created by the bot.
Token creation tools
The platform now supports token launches on Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain and other networks. Its web interface creates contracts without requiring users to write code. Launch settings cover liquidity pools, trading fees and reward recipients. Creators can configure a vesting vault for part of their supply. Airdrops and an initial creator purchase are optional launch features.
Ecosystem economics
Trading fees from Clanker deployments support the platform's token economics. The protocol reports CLANKER purchases and burned tokens on its public interface. Individual launched tokens have their own supply and fee settings. Optional engagement droids receive funding from an assigned share of liquidity-pool rewards. Their operating wallets can also accept USDC top-ups.
