What is TORUS?
Overview
TORUS is a decentralized finance protocol built on Ethereum that allows participants to create or stake tokens in exchange for daily rewards distributed from the protocol's pool. Users contribute TitanX or ETH to participate in reward cycles ranging from 1 to 88 days. The protocol implements a deflationary mechanism designed to reduce token supply over time through systematic buybacks and permanent removal from circulation.
How it works
The protocol operates on Ethereum and uses a share-based rewards model where participants choose between creating or staking positions. A dynamic metric called the Systemic Median Ratio determines which action offers better returns at any point in time. All contract logic is immutable, and the system contains no admin keys or privileged functions.
Token and supply
TORUS has a maximum supply of 125 million tokens. Daily emissions begin at 100 thousand tokens and decrease by 0.08% per day indefinitely, creating a mathematically finite total issuance. The protocol allocates 84% of all inflows to purchase and burn TORUS tokens from the market, while 8% builds protocol-owned liquidity. There was no team allocation, pre-mine, or founder reserve.
