What is Toshi?
Token and identity
TOSHI is issued on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 developed by Coinbase. The project also publishes an official BNB Smart Chain deployment. Its blue-cat branding links the token with community activity on Base. Its name references Brian Armstrong's pet rather than identifying him as the token's creator. The project provides official contract addresses to distinguish TOSHI from similarly named assets.

The MEOW DAO uses token-based voting for community decisions. Each TOSHI represents one vote under its published governance model.
